The relatively short races have grown in popularity across the country, and it's estimated that over 4 million people will participate in a 5K annually. US Army Sgt. Dan Kernan is following bodybuilding routines in preparation for a competition with four other men in the novice lightweight division of the 4th annual Allegheny Valley YMCA Strongest Man Contest in Harrison, Pennsylvania. The Strongest Man Contest features a series of five grueling events, including a fire truck pull, a farmer's walk, an overhead steel log press, a stone carry and an axle dead lift. In the fire truck pull, contestants mus pull a vintage 1931 fire truck that's estimated to weight 28,000 pounds for 50 feet in under 3 minutes.
