Marine Bodybuilding Routines

The Marines at Camp Lejeune are known for pushing themselves to the limit in everything they do, but the team of bodybuilders at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune take it even further. Their bodybuilding routines involve grueling daily workouts with weights, and a big focus on maintaining proper hydration and nutrition in order to withstand the demanding physical routines.
Recently, four of these bodybuilders competed in a local Wilmington competition. One took first place while another took fourth. One of the four was a female bodybuilder, and she enjoyed a second place win in the women's competition. Bodybuilding is certainly a sport, but it's also a lifestyle for many athletes. It offers the ultimate challenge and requires extreme self-discipline and willpower. Most days the Marine bodybuilders wake up at 3:30am to ready for the gym, eating a good meal beforehand and prepping themselves mentally for the extreme workout they are about to perform.
